A Message from the President
Welcome to the Canadian Netherlands Business and Professional Association (CNBPA).
The CNBPA has enjoyed a long history as one of the most vibrant and active European business chambers in Toronto. In addition to leading-edge business speakers, we provide a strong networking forum for both Dutch expatriates and Canadian business people with Dutch interests.
Our focus for 2013 will be to increase the value that the CNBPA brings to its members and the broader Dutch-Canadian community with which we interact. We will do this by offering more events at more venues throughout the GTA and working hard to increase attendance – and hence the networking opportunities – at these events.
We always welcome new corporate and individual members and invite you to get involved through both our business and social events. We also invite you to join our LinkedIn group, and to follow us on Twitter.
We look forward to meeting you at our next event, and thank all the members and the Toronto Dutch business community for their ongoing support of the CNBPA.
Tom Vandeloo,
President

Royal Orange Celebration - honouring our new king the Dutch way!
On April 30, 2013 the Dutch Community in Toronto and the GTA celebrated Queen’s Day (Koninginnedag ) and the Investiture of His Majesty King Willem-Alexander with a 4-course dinner, video presentation of the events in Holland, and party with live entertainment at the newly renovated (and aptly named) Hyatt Regency Toronto, King Ballroom (370 King Street West).

Dear CNBPA Members, Supporters and Friends,
On behalf of the CNBPA Board of Directors, I would like to thank all of you for your ongoing support and interest in the Association. The CNBPA has enjoyed another successful year connecting with its members and helping each of them expand and find value within their professional networks.
2012 Event Highlights
The CNBPA hosted and co-hosted six successful events in 2012, allowing attendees to socialize, network, and learn about the global and local business environment. I’m proud to add that we raised more than $1,400 for the Assaulted Women’s Helpline with our second silent auction at our annual Members’ Day.
Our focus for 2013
Our focus for 2013 will be to increase the value that the CNBPA brings to its members and the broader Dutch-Canadian community with which we interact. We will do this by continuing to offer interesting events and working hard to increase attendance – and hence the networking opportunities – at these events.
We want you back in 2013!
We invite you to visit our website www.cnbpa.ca for ongoing updates on upcoming events and to renew your membership for 2013. We look forward to another energetic year of building community and exploring how our Dutch-Canadian connection makes a difference. We encourage you to also invite your connections to become a member of the CNBPA.
